BNE believes in Healthy People! And in July 2007, we launched LiveWell3 - a three-part wellness initiative for members of the Group Insurance Plan that focuses on smoking/tobacco cessation, weight loss and improved fitness through walking.
The BNE Helping Hands Program is an employee assistance fund that provides financial assistance to Boddie-Noell employees in times of need. It is designed to assist employees who may be experiencing an unforeseen personal crisis such as acute illness, natural disaster, fire or flood.

James H. Walters Scholarships
James H. Walters, the late Vice Chairman and Chief Administrative Officer of Boddie-Noell, realized the importance of education and its role in personal development. We continue to honor Mr. Walters and his beliefs by awarding scholarships, for the seventeenth year, in the James H. Walters Scholarship Program. We congratulate our past and current scholarship recipients and encourage the families of our employees to take advantage of its important benefit.
In 2007 twenty students were awarded $25,000 through the program. Since 1989 over $360,000 has been awarded to 390 deserving students.
