BNE believes in Healthy People! And in 2007, we launched LiveWell3 - a three-part wellness initiative for members of the Group Insurance Plan that focuses on smoking/tobacco cessation, weight loss and improved fitness through walking.
The BNE Helping Hands Program is an employee assistance fund that provides financial assistance to Boddie-Noell employees in times of need. It is designed to assist employees who may be experiencing an unforeseen personal crisis such as acute illness, natural disaster, fire or flood.
Success is the result of knowing where you want to go, and the changes you need to make to get there. Investment in Excellence works because people believe in their ability to make things happen.
Boddie-Noell has helped over 875 team members become aware of what they can become, and then helped facilitate this potential into reality. …and we don’t plan on stopping.

We continue to honor James H. Waters, the late vice chairman and chief administrative officer of Boddie-Noell, who realized the importance of education and its role in personal development. We remember Waters and his beliefs by awarding scholarships, for the 22nd year, in the James H. Waters Scholarship Program. We congratulate our past and current scholarship recipients and encourage the families of our employees to take advantage of this important benefit.
In 2010, 20 students were awarded funds between $500 and $1,500 each for education through the James H. Waters Scholarship program. Over its history, this program has proudly donated more than $439,700 to deserving students.
